Ginevra Dabalà is an Italian singer-songwriter born in Cittadella, near Padua, in 2011. She discovered her passion for music at an early age, singing in a local choir before developing as a solo performer. During her childhood and early teens, she took part in numerous singing competitions, earning awards, top placements and growing public recognition.

In 2023, she appeared on the national television talent show “The Voice Kids Italia”, hosted by Antonella Clerici on RAI 1. Joining the team of legendary Italian pop group Ricchi e Poveri, she performed Queen’s “The Show Must Go On” and “Circle of Life” from Disney’s “The Lion King”. The programme introduced her to a nationwide audience and led to further live performances as well as television and radio appearances.

As her musical journey evolved, Ginevra felt the need to move beyond interpreting other artists’ repertoire. She began studying guitar and piano, learning to accompany herself while gradually discovering songwriting as the most authentic expression of her creativity. Inspired by the singer-songwriters she admires, she started writing original songs that reflect her own thoughts, emotions and view of the world.

In spring 2024, supported by vocal coach Martina Micaglio, musician Riccardo Sadè and producer Cristiano Zatta (Imaginatic), she officially launched her career as a singer-songwriter with the independent label ImageSonika. The collaboration marked the beginning of a project focused on artistic authenticity, creative freedom and long-term musical development.

Her debut single “Attraverso un foglio” introduced audiences to her personal songwriting style. This was followed by “Una conversazione inutile”, a refined contemporary pop-soul track that confirmed both her compositional maturity and her distinctive vocal identity.

Her third single, “Bidonville”, represents a significant artistic step forward. While maintaining the elegant pop-soul influences established in her previous work, the song broadens its perspective by addressing a powerful social issue with empathy and emotional honesty.

The recording features Giacomo Perosin on piano, Damiano Stellin on drums and percussion, and producer Cristiano Zatta (Imaginatic) on bass, who also arranged and produced the track for ImageSonika.

Performed by a live ensemble, Bidonville reveals a richer musical palette and further establishes Ginevra Dabalà as one of Italy’s most promising young singer-songwriters, distinguished by her authenticity, expressive depth and remarkable artistic maturity.
